What makes me unique?
I almost danced with Bruce Springsteen.
Yup. My career as a professional actress in film, TV, and theater was filled with amazing I-BOOKED-its and fabulous almosts. My Springsteen “almost” is a GREAT story.
It was me, Courtney Cox and a waiting room full of other girls auditioning for Brian DePalma, the director of “Mission: Impossible“, “Scarface” and the “Dancing In The Dark” video. At the second audition it was just Courtney and me. A few days later she went to Minnesota to film the video at Bruce’s first concert on the Born In The USA tour, and I went to audition for a Broadway show. It came down to just me and Cynthia Nixon…
Those women were my peers and our futures were being shaped in the moment. None of us knew who would make friends, have sex in the city or be Matt Damon’s lover in outer space. (Contact me and I’ll tell you ALL about it!)
